Designed for pressured moments
Health websites are often used by people who are anxious, tired, in pain or struggling to concentrate. Language, navigation and forms are kept direct, predictable and forgiving.
What you should be able to do
Visitors should be able to zoom text to 200%, navigate by keyboard, understand headings and links, complete forms with visible labels, and use the site on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
