Strength and conditioning

Planned physical preparation for capacity, strength and performance; matched to the person and their sport or life.

Everything healthbecause it all matters.

The starting point

Strength and conditioning can support athletic performance and everyday function. Effective programming reflects training history, competition demands, recovery and any clinical restrictions.

01

Individual demands

Programming may consider force, speed, endurance, movement qualities, season structure and access to equipment. Testing should be proportionate and purposeful. Delivery may be online or in person following appropriate screening.

02

Coordination

For athletes, physical preparation may need coordination with coaches, physiotherapists, medical staff and competition schedules. Roles and consent must be explicit.

03

Performance is a system

Sleep, nutrition, stress, injury history and psychological load affect adaptation. EHG’s wider structure makes those connections visible without claiming that one discipline can provide every answer.
